Position Overview: Primacy Strategy Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior-level Professional to join our team in Washington, D.C and serve as a senior lobbyist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government relations, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of influencing public policy as well as building & managing relationships with Members of Congress and agency personnel. This role requires a deep understanding of the federal legislative & regulatory process and established relationships within Congress.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and research legislative, policy, and regulatory issues relevant to clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to influence policy, legislation, and regulatory changes.
- Build and maintain relationships with lawmakers, government officials, and other key stakeholders, leveraging existing connections within Congress.
- Lead multiple client accounts ranging in size, issue area and focus.
- Communicate clients’ positions and concerns to policymakers and regulators through meetings, phone calls, emails, and written materials.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide timely updates to clients.
- Provide expert testimony before legislative committees and other government bodies.
- Coordinate grassroots advocacy campaigns and collaborate with other organizations to advance shared policy goals.
- Stay current on industry developments, political landscape changes, and federal regulatory updates.
- Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, including lobbying disclosure and ethics requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in government affairs, public relations, or comparable Capitol Hill and agency work.
- Strong understanding of political processes, federal regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Current relationships with members and staff in Congress, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Ability to navigate complex political landscapes and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility, creativity, and persistence.
Salary: $100K+, and competitive benefits, commensurate with experience.
