Former MN Speaker of the House and Former Deputy Executive Director of the National Conference of State Legislatures Join Primacy Strategy Group

The addition of Kurt Zellers & Nancy Rhyme enhances PSG’s core service offerings, leadership structure, and fortifies regional and national reach

Washington, D.C. – Primacy Strategy Group (PSG) announced the addition of two new members to their leadership team, former Minnesota House Speaker Kurt Zellers and former National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Deputy Executive Director, Nancy Rhyme.

Primacy Strategy Group a 50/50 joint-venture between Lockridge Grindal Nauen P.L.L.P. (LGN), a Minnesota-based law firm, with state and federal lobbying teams and Synergetic Endeavors (SE), a St. Paul-based consulting firm specializing in grassroots advocacy, public relations, coalition building and association management.

Zellers will serve as the Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs. Prior to joining the Primacy Strategy Group, Zellers was elected the 57th Speaker of the Minnesota House and served 12 years in the Minnesota House of Representatives, Zellers. “Kurt’s long standing reputation of reaching across the aisle as well as his exceptional skills as a communications professional is well known and respected,” said PSG CEO Ryan Kelly, “Adding someone with Kurt’s reputation as a communications and public affairs expert, allows PSG to expand our reach with regional and national clients.” Zellers bio can be found on the PSG website.

Nancy Rhyme joins the PSG team as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Legislative Strategies after a storied career with the National Conference of State Legislatures, serving as the Deputy Executive Director in her most recent role. “Nancy’s reputation as a non-partisan professional, and her experience with legislators in statehouses all over the United States is second to none,” said PSG CEO Ryan Kelly, “Our clients will be one phone call away from one of the most brilliant legislative minds in American public policy.” Rhyme’s bio can be found on PSG website.
