Overview

Synergetic Endeavors was retained by the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe to raise the resources necessary to send 180 students, teachers, and community members to the 50th Annual U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Washington, D.C. The 2014 Capitol Christmas Tree came from tribal land in the Chippewa National Forest and this once in a lifetime trip would provide Leech Lake area students a wonderful opportunity to see new places, meet new people, and foster a strong sense of community pride and identity for the students.

Strategy

With an aggressive goal of raising less $130,000 in under sixty days, Synergetic Endeavors sprang into action, building out a comprehensive prospect list of corporate, individual, and foundation donors to support the fundraising campaign – “From Our Home to Capitol Hill”.

Results

In less than two month’s time, our team successfully raised over $170,000 on behalf of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, exceeding our goal and providing a once in a lifetime opportunity for the parents, teachers, and students from community schools to visit Washington, D.C.
