Terry L. Effertz is a member of the State and Local Government and Regulatory Affairs team at the Primacy Strategy Group and is the Regional Government Affairs manager. Ms. Effertz has professional experience in government relations, regulated industries, and public policy.
Prior to joining PSG Ms. Effertz was an associate attorney with Larson Latham Huettl LLP and primarily practiced in the areas of personal injury litigation, social security/disability, landlord/tenant law, and criminal defense.
Ms. Effertz attended the University of North Dakota School of Law and received her Juris Doctorate in May 2018. During law school, she was involved in Moot Court, Student Trial Lawyers Association, Law Review, and various national organizations. During this time Terry interned for the North Dakota Attorney General’s office and North Dakota Legislative Council.
After law school, Terry served as law clerk for the Justice Daniel Crothers, a member of the North Dakota Supreme Court. Prior to joining Larson Latham Huettl LLP Terry worked as in-house counsel for a marketing and public relations firm.
Prior to attending law school, Terry graduated from Minot State University in 2014 with degrees in Marketing and Management.
In her free time Terry enjoys spending time with her dogs, traveling, reading, and performing in a comedy troupe.
